Is Netflix Slower?
A few weeks ago, Mike over at Arsenic.net noticed that Netflix now has an Erie address. Just a question I’m throwing out there: Is Netflix slower now?
Lately I feel like my Netflix returns are taking an extra day to get scanned in at a distribution center, compared to when Pittsburgh was on the return envelope. Anyone else noticing a slow down?

I’ve noticed no difference sending from Meadville, but since they say “Nearest Netflix Center” I wonder if they are going to Pittsburgh instead of Erie. Sadlly, there’s no way to tell where they finally end up at (or what shipping centers your movie is coming from) AFAIK

I have noticed a serious slow down. I have also noticed a larger number of “waits” in my queue. I have fifteen movies with with some form of wait. Seriously, one movie with a long wait is Ghostbusters 2.

I’ve had the Blockbuster equivalent of netflix since February. We love it. You take the mailed DVD after you watch it to Blockbuster and get a new release while you wait for the next movie in queue to arrive in the mail. It’s awesome. I think Blockbuster will be out of business in a few years as a result but right now they have the better product!

holy crow’s nest! i never realized that. i know this comment is WAAAAY late, but i just looked on my recent mailings and they say “Erie”. I get a nice 1 day turn-around now on returns. Pretty cool.
