Snowdog Studio’s “Chasing Darkness” is an Official Selection of this year’s Fright Night Film Festival, which takes place in Louisville, Ky. on Aug. 17 – 19.
Len Kabasinski’s “Fist of the Vampire” has completed principal photography. Now word yet on a premiere.
Weirdo Theatre Orkeztra will present Robert Wiene’s CLASSIC silent film “The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari” at the Erie Art Museum Annex, 20 E. 5th St., on Aug. 10. The doors open at 7:30 p.m. Movie starts at 8 p.m. Cost is $5 at the door.
A documentary is looking for stories about people whose lives have been affected in a negative way by gambling. You can get information here.
An open casting call will be held on Aug. 4 and 5 for the film “Make Me Popular”. Times are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Gateway (2nd floor) located at 1100 Carnegie Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio, 44115. We are seeking men and women of all ages, shapes, and sizes for a variety of speaking parts and extra roles. No experience necessary! Please bring a headshot and resume if one is available or a snapshot that we can keep. “Make Me Popular” is a feature length comedy about a town that creates a series of ridiculous events to avoid publicity on a scandal. There is no strong language, sexual content, or violence contained in this film.
